Want: Chocolate Trench Coat

I already have one in the color of freshly baked biscuits.

This color is lovely.

Almost obsidian.

I would like food more if I didn't love clothing so much

Saturday Survey: April 24th, 2010

01 Mood: Listless like a poorly blended smoothie.

02 Best thing about this weekend: Seeing Eric tomorrow! My smushy cheeked bunny rabbit friend with a heart of chocolate-foiled gold!

03 What makeup am I wearing today: Clinique Almost Make-up in Fair, Revlon's cream blush in Rosy Glow, Korres lip butter in Pomegranate

04 What skincare am I using today:
Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser, Mario Badescu's Healing Powder, Mario Badescu's Glycolic Gel.

05 What am I wearing today: Gap jeans, a blue H&M sweater and a jacket that looks like something out of a Manga from Forever21.

06 What I’m reading: Sadly, nothing. My brain is an unstimulated web of useless neurons.

07 Makeup lust: Korres lip gloss in 52 (sheer cherry red). I tried it on in the store today and it was really nice against paler skin. I felt a bit like anime snow white.

08 Listening to: Suju's Sorry Sorry album.

09 Clothing Lust: H&M Summer dresses! I was in the one on Yonge street today and they didn't have nearly as much choices as the one in Square One. Luckily, I'm meeting Eric there tomorrow.

10 Haircare Lust: Mario Badescu's Lecithin Nourishing Shampoo. I'm still running out but I'm trying to determine more things I want from Mario B because I don't want to pay shipping for one item.

11 Skincare Lust: I'm trying to see if I want to make the jump from Mario Badescu to Dermalogica.

12 Current obsessions: Mario Badescu, SHINee, Taeyeon, getting that Publicis contract, Bipolar Disorder.

13 Aim for this week: Pack up room in Hamilton, attempt not to damage insane clothing collection, try to find missing bag from Gap Men.

Suju's 3rd Album

Heartquake

We meet farewells more than memories

What kind of problems make you

so hard and sad and weak?

Friday Reviews

Make-up used today:

1) Clinique SPF 15 Almost make-up in Fair (It's the only tinted moisturizer that fits my pinkish pale Asian skin to a T)

2) Revlon's Cream Blush in Rosy Glow (It gives you a light rose-tinted glow)

3) Stila Smudgepot in Kitten (You can barely see it but it magically makes you look awake)

Love: Beauty Blender

I bought this little neon sponge of fun today. It's a Beauty Blender. I dabbed it in a bit of my Clinique SPF 15 Almost Make-up and brushed/stippled/bounced a light layer over my face. The sharp tip is OSM for under eye area. I like precise things in cute packages.

I'm back to playing with make-up that doesn't look like make-up again.

Happy stippling!

Love: Vegan Smores

I had these from Bridges today, they're from Sweet and Sarah and they're basically amazing.

Soft and fluffy, completely vegan, dairy free and it doesn't make you feel like you're going to have a food baby.

Om nom nom.

Want: Pretty pens with pretty colors

Want this triplus fineliner porous pen set set to make my notes into rainbow Tellytubby land. Everything I own should be sunshine and sparkles to counter the emo cloud in my head.

Remember those metallic gel pens from our junior high days? I drew flowers and stars all over myself with pastel glitter pens and my mom made me Stop because she said I would get ink poisoning

13-year-old Angela didn't care because in my head, I thought the glitter would sink in and perhaps I would have glittery skin like a glittery fairy.

Perhaps there was some validity to the ink theory.

Skittles *whispers* taste the rainbow.

Favorite Things: Bose Headphones

I have Bose noise canceling headphones. I hate that they cost me more than my life but I love them to death and beyond. What a counterproductive emotion.

Pros: They protect you from the world and provide you with your own personal audio bubble. Drunk students lumbering around on a Friday night is no match for the power of Quiet Comfort 15.

Cons: Because they cancel noise (hence, the name), there's an on and off button. on the side This means you always need batteries at hand. They drain out quite easily and only lasts about 5 hours.

Or maybe I need more Energizer Bunny and less Dollarstore Anonymous.

Or maybe I should remember to turn the headphones off after I've used them.

I also can't wear them in public because I can't pull off the giant emo headphones look when my entire wardrobe looks like work attire.

Want: Vocally limited country singer's wardrobe

Although Taylor Swift's songs put me in Sunshine and Rainbow Land, I would like to know how a *google search box: Taylor Swift + age* 20 year old can amass an army of relationships so terrible that each concluded with its own hit song?

However, I am very fond of her style since she's my ridiculous height and dresses well to flatter it. I either own quite a few items in a similar style or failing that, I would like a teleportation device so I can raid her closet.

See this blue skirt thing (I'm obviously the master of eloquence)?

Yes, I want!

The Man on the Bus

There was a man on the bus today. His eyes were an incoherent blue, sticky like crayons that had melted in the sun.

When his girlfriend spoke to him, the dots in his eyes shifted like lights dancing across his iris.

Drug users live in an odd world. Sometimes I wonder if it's nicer in there.

Goals: Sunday, April 11th, 2010

1) Hit Dollarama/Dollar Store (those are different in Hamilton!) for room decor stickers. I only have 3 weeks left in this room but I want to test these stickies out.

Done! There's a flower field sticker mural going on behind my bed.

2) Do Laundry (I'm out of socks)

Currently in the dryer, my room is going to smell Spring Fresh.

3) Study Week 1 - 3 of Performativity

4) Study first 3 chapters of Quantitative Communications

5) Apply to Decode Consulting Company

Saturday Survey: April 10th, 2010

01 Mood: Same old: a little dreary, slightly robotic.

02 Best thing about this weekend: Getting my History of Human Communications exam over with. That thing needed to die in a fire.

03 What makeup am I wearing today: Korres lip butter in Pomegranate and Quince and dots of Clinique's Almost Make-up in fair (I hate wearing full foundation so I dot dot dot)

04 What skincare am I using today:
Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser, Mario Badescu's Enzyme Cleansing Gel (which smells bloody amazing), Mario Badescu's Seaweed Cleansing Toner, Mario Badescu's (I see a pattern) Rose Hips Nourishing Oil (it's actually my first time using it. So far, it feels a little tingly but it's been on for 2 hours and I haven't reacted to it)

05 What am I wearing today: I was wearing black Zara pants with my motorcycle boots, a black tank top and a sherry colored sweater. I misread the temperature and wore a lighter red jacket, which was absolute fail on my part.

06 What I’m reading: Notes for my Performativity Exam, my prof was so sweet and compiled everything for us in a Word document. How that woman will survive as a Prof is....far beyond my comprehension.

07 Makeup lust: Nar's Orgasm Illuminator to add to my collection of ridiculously expensive but unused make-up products.

08 Listening to: She & Him Volume 2, Zooey Deschanel's voice is such a nice throw back to the 80's.

09 Clothing Lust: I want some summer dresses once the weather stops being schizo.

10 Haircare Lust: Mario Badescu's Lecithin Nourishing Shampoo. I'm running out! It smells awesome (like herbs, the asian in me like herby smells) and doesn't leave a heavy scent or residue.

11 Skincare Lust: Mario Badescu's Enzyme Protective Cream.

12 Current obsessions: Mario Badescu, SHINee, Jessica Jung's haircolor, getting a job in downtown Toronto, room decoration.

13 Aim for this week: Studying for my exams, sleeping more, making a new header for my livejournal.

People Kill People

As an avid Beatles fan, I saw this on Postsecret and absolutely loved it.

-----Email Message-----
John Lennon died because of that book.
Be careful.
